In consequence of the heavy state of the sea on the llth April fears were enter- tained for the safety of the fishing coble Louisa, which had been out fishing all night, more especially as it was seen that landing would be dangerous. At 5 A.M. the Life-boat Ada Lewit was launched and remained in readiness to assist the coble when she returned, but the coble had gone very much farther than usual and it was not until the afternoon that she was observed making for port, when the Life-boat took her in tow and brought her safely in.
