The Life-boat Co-operator No. 1 was launched at 6.30 A.M. on the 24th May, to assist six of the fishing-cobles, which had gone to the fishing-grounds about 2.30. The wind was blowing moderately from E.S.E., but the sea became heavy after the boats had gone out, and when | they wished to return it was breaking | heavily on the bar.
