2. That H.R.H. The PRINCE OF WALES, K.G., be elected President, and that the Noblemen and Gentlemen who have been nominated be the Officers of the Institution for the current year.

That this Meeting, recognising the national importance of the lifesaving work which has been carried on for more than fourscore years by the ROYAL NATIONAL LIFE-BOAT INSTITUTION, records its appreciation of the prowess of the Coxswains and Crews of the Institution's Life-boats, and gratefully acknowledges the very necessary help which it continues to receive from the Local Honorary Secretaries, Treasurers, Branch Committees, the Public Press, as well as from the Ladies' Auxiliaries and the Life-boat Saturday Committees.
