.— On the 6th February, shortly after midday, the barque Marianna, of Arendal, in tow, was observed about one and a half miles off Port Patrick with a heavy list and not able to steer. There was a strong S.W. wind and heavy sea running, and as it was feared that the vessel must go on to the rocks the Life- boat Civil Service No. 3 was sent to her assistance.
