EXMOUTH, DEVON.—A fishing boat which had proceeded to sea in favourable weather early in the morning of the 24th March, was overtaken by a strong gale from S.S.W., and as the sea became very heavy accompanied by a very thick rain, considerable anxiety was felt for the safety of the crew. About noon she was observed with her sails split, dangerously near to the sands.
