2. That the Noblemen and Gentle- men whose names have been read by the Secretary be the Officers of the Institution for the current year (vide pp. 32-3 for List).

3. That this Meeting, recognising fully the value of the great life- saving work carried on by the ROYAL NATIONAL LIFE-BOAT INSTITUTION, records its appreciation of the gallantry so constantly displayed by the Life-boat coxswains and crews, and desires to cordially and thank- fully acknowledge the important help received by the Institution from the Local Honorary Secretaries, Trea- surers, Branch Committees and the Public Press, as well as from the Life-boat Saturday Committees and the Ladies' Auxiliaries.
