NEWQUAY, CARDIGANSHIRE.—On the morning of the 7th November, while a whole gale was blowing from the N,, the dandy Ann and Elizabeth, of Cardigan, homeward bound in ballast, was seen drifting towards the beach. Efforts were made to save the crew by means of the rocket apparatus but they were unsuccessful, and the vessel then drifting away from the shore the Life-boat was launched at 5 o'clock and saved the crew consisting of two men and a boy. The vessel afterwards stranded and became total wreck..
