DOVER.—Signals of distress were fired by the light-vessel moored off the works in progress at the Admiralty pier, on the night of the 16th May .while a strong breeze was blowing from N.E. The Life-boat, Lewis Morice, was launched at 10.15, and ascertained that the lightship had been run into by a large steamer.
