The Albion

HOLYHEAD.—On the morning of the 15th February a small schooner was seendrifting helplessly about two miles outside the Breakwater, and a telephone message was received by the coastguards from the Breakwater Lighthouse keeper stating that the vessel was in need of assistance.

The steam Life-boat DuJce of Northumberland proceeded to her at 11.45 and assisted to get her into the harbour. She was the Albion, of Bnncorn, laden with guano, from Dublin for Saltney, and on board her were a crew of four men and the master's wife and two children. A strong gale was blowing from S., and there was a very heavy sea during the time this service was rendered..
