BERWICK - ON - TWEED. — The ketch William Knox, of Kirkcaldy, coal laden, from the Tyne for Bonar Bridge, was seen running for the harbour while a freshbreeze was blowing from S.E. on the 9th February. On entering the river she was caught by the strong " fresh " running out, and broaching to, was driven on the Cold Bat, Spittal Point. Signals for assistance being shown, the crew of the Life-boat John and Janet were summoned, and at 6 P.M. the boat was launched and safely landed the vessel's crew of three men..
