Two Cobles
NEWBIGGIN BY THE SEA.—Two cobles were in danger, a sudden gale from S.E.
having sprung np while they were working their lines, about two or three miles from the shore, on the morning of the 12th January, and the sea becoming very rough the broken, water on the shore would have made it dangerous to land. The Life-boat Robert and Susan was therefore launched at 8 o'clock and accompanied the boats to a place a little to the N. of Newbiggin, where they were able to effect a safe landing..
