BLYTH, NORTHUMBERLAND. — On the morning of the 29th March signals of distress were sent up by the s.s. Dan, of Copenhagen, which had stranded on theSow and Figs rocks a little to the eastward of Blyth Harbour, and in response the Life-boats Dalmar and Oswald, Sarah and Jane were launched and remained by the vessel until she floated off with the rising tide. The steamer was bound from Ghent, in ballast, for Blyth, and was making for the dry dock for repairs..
