Emblem, Times and Delembra

HILBRE ISLAND, CHESHIRE —It having been reported that some of the boats engaged in cockle-fishing were in a dangerous position on the West Hoyle bank on the 2nd May, the Life-boat Admiral Briggs was launched at 4.25 P.M., and in two trips rescued three boats, the Emblem, Times and Delembra, belonging to Parkgate, and their crews consisting of six men and two women. A strong gale was blowing from E.S.E., the sea was chqppy and the weather squally at the time these services were rendered..
