NORTH SUNDERLAND.— While the fishing- boats were out on the 28th April the sea suddenly rose, compelling them to return home. All the boats succeeded in entering the harbour safely with the exception of two, and to assist thise, the Lift-boat Thomas Bewick was launched at 11.30 A.M. Oue of the boats went back to the Fame Islands but the other, the coble Beautiful Star, happily succeeded in entering the harbour, the Lifeboat standing by her until she was in safety..
