IRVINE.—The Life-boat Busbie was launched at 1.30 A.M. on the 10th March, and proceeded to the assistance of the s.s. Texa, of Glasgow, bound from Glenarm for Irvine with limestone, which had stranded on the north side of the bar, at the mouth of the harbour, in a strong S.W. breeze, a heavy sea, and thick weather.
