Fishing Yawls
ARBROATH.—While a strong gale was blowing from E.N.E., with a very heavy sea and snow, on the 22nd January, twelve of the fishing yawls were returning, but it was feared they would be unable to enter the harbour. The Lifeboat William Souter was launched at about 10.15 A.M., and stood by in readiness to render any help that might be needed. She remained in attendance until 3.30 P.M., by which time all the boats had succeeded in reaching the harbour..
