PORT ERIN, ISLE OF MAN.—On the 14th September the William Sugden Life-boat was despatched to the assistance of two fishing-boats which had been overtaken when on the lee side of Calf Island by a gale from the north-west and a heavy sea, causing great anxiety to be felt for the safety of the fishermen.
