HUNSTANTON.—The Life-boat Licensed Victualler put off at noon on the 17th May in a rough sea and a strong N.N.W.

breeze, a vessel having been reported in distress. The vessel proved to be the brig Amelie, of Frederickstadt, laden with pit props, water-logged, dismasted, and total wreck on Heacham beach. Her crew of nine men, who were in their boat alongside the ship, were taken into the Life-boat and landed safely at Hunstanton at 2 o'clock..
