Bruckley Castle

BRIGHTON.—The barque Bruckley Castle, of Glasgow, bound from Grimsby for Santos, Brazil, with coal and railway sleepers, in bringing up in order to land a pilot, in a moderate gale from E.N.E.

and a rough sea, stranded about 500 yards S. of the West pierhead on the 16th February. At 9.15A.M. the Lifeboat Sunlight No. 2 was launched, proceeded to the vessel and remained by her until she floated, without any assistance, and made for Plymouth..
