Aneurin

FALMOUTH.—The schooner Aneurin, Carnarvon, bound from Salcombe for Aberdovey in ballast, dragged her anchor in a gale from E.S.E. on the 4th February and showed signals of distress. The Life-boat Bob Newbon was launched 8.30 P.M., and was taken in tow by the s.s. Triton. Great difficulty and danger were encountered in getting alongside the vessel, which by that time was in close proximity to the Eastern breakwater, but eventually this was safely accomplished and the crew of four men were rescued and landed at Falmouth.
