DUNGENESS.—In response to signals of distress, the No. 1 Life-boat R. A. 0. B.

was launched at 2.40 A.M. on the 24th February, and found the four-masted barque Kelton, of Glasgow, stranded on the Newcome Sands. At the master's request the Life-boat men boarded the vessel, which was on a voyage from Calcutta to Boulogne, and rendered assistance in getting her off the sand..
