It is requisite that there should be a sufficient number of men (fishermen, or others accustomed to the management of boats at sea) to man the Life-boat, and a Committee formed from the residents in the neighbourhood to superintend the Station and obtain such small Annual Subscriptions as may contribute towards a portion of the expense of the Life-boat Station.
