The Sailing Boat Gladys

CEMAES, ANGLESEY.—Intelligence having been received that the sailing-boat Gladys and two rowing-boats had been blown out to sea, and were in great danger about two miles from the shore, during half a gale of wind from the S.W.

on the llth August, the crew of the Life-boat George Evans were at once summoned, the boat was launched at 2 P.M., and assisted the distressed boats to regain the shore. The prompt and galJant conduct of the Life-boatmen was greatly admired by hundreds of people who witnessed the service..
