WINTERTON, NORFOLK.—On the morning of the 21st March the ketch Elizabeth, of Goole, was observed about half-a-mile from the shore running straight for the beach in a strong N.E. breeze and a heavy sea. The crew of the No. 1 Life-boat Edward Birkleck having been called, the boat was launched at six o'clock, and proceeded to the vessel which had grounded on the bank opposite the Life-boat house among the breakers and was full of water. As soon as possible the Life-boat got alongside her, and rescued her crew of two men and a boy..
