NEW BRIGHTON.—Signal rockets indicating that the services of the Life-boatwere required, having been fired by the Light-vessel and Coastguard Station on the night of the 14th January, the No. 2 Life-boat Henry RicJiardson pnt off in tow of the . Wallasey Perry steamer Crocus, proceeded to the Crosby lightship and found the schooner Thomas, of Amlwch, bound for Liverpool with a cargo of timber, with two anchors down, drifting on to the Barbo Bank. The steamer took her in tow, and she was brought to Naw Brighton. The wind was blowing from S.W. to N.W., the weather was squally, and there was a heavy sea rnnniug at the time..
