Cordoba
KINGSDOWNE;.—A large steamer was reported to be ashore between St. Margaret's Bay and Hope Point on the morningmorning of the 25th November. A stronggale was blowing from the W.S.W., there was a heavy sea, and the weather was thick with rain. The Life-boat Charles Hargruve put off at 8.30, and on reaching the steamer found that she was the Cordoba, of and for Havre, in ballast from Dunkirk.
The Life-boat remained by her until she was towed off by a London tug, and then returned to her station, arriving there at 11 o'clock..
