FISHGUARD. — The No. 1 Life-boat Elizabeth Mary was launched at about 9 P.M. on the 24th September, during a moderate gale from the N.N.E., signals of distress having been shown by the smack Lark, of Portinadoc, laden with slates for Cardiff. When the Life-boat arrived, the master stated that his vessel was leaking, and as the tide would not permit her entering the harbour, the Life-boat remained by her for about an hour.
