THURSO, — Flare lights were burnt by the schooner Bonnie Lass, of Wick, bound for Castle Hill, in ballast, which was riding in Scrabster Eoadstead, during a violent gate from the N.W., and a terrible sea on the 2nd February. The Life-boat Charley Lloyd was launched at 7.30 A.M., was let down towards the vessel by means of lines, rescued the crew consisting of four men, and safely landed them at 9 o'clock..
