ABBROATH.—Several fishing-boats having been overtaken by a strong gale from the S.S.E., and a very heavy sea, on the 30th May, the People's Journal No. 2 Lifeboat was launched at 2.45 A.M., pulled out to the bar, and remained there in readiness to assist any of the boats should her services be required.
