Olive Branch
The Two Sisters Mary and Hannah Life-boat was launched at 12.15 P.M. on the 14th March during a very strong wind from E. by S., and proceeded to the assistance of the smack Olive Branch, of Lowestoft, which had damaged her stern by striking the pier, and was drifting towards the south beach, showing signals ofdistress. On reaching the vessel it was found that she was leaking. Nine of the crew of the Life-boat boarded her, and, •with the help of a smack which went to her assistance, she was taken to Tarmonth.
