THORPENESS.—At 1.30 A.M. on the 20th May, the Ipswich Life-boat was launched to the assistance of the ketch Laura, of Harwich, bound from the north for Netley, Southampton, with coal, whichwas disabled during rough weather and a very heavy sea. Some of the Life-boat men boarded the vessel and took her to Lowestoft, the Life-boat accompanying her, arriving there at 7 A.M. The ketch carried a crew of five men..
