PLYMOUTH.—The barquentine Kate, of Greenock, laden with logwood from Laguna de Terminios to Plymouth for orders, parted her cables during a strong W. gale and a high sea on the morning of the 23rd March, and went ashore on the rocks in Batten Bay. The Life-boat Escape put off to her assistance at 4.30, and brought safely ashore the seven persons who were on board the vessel..
