Lady Morris and Anne Elizabeth

WHITBY. — The fishing-cobles Lady Morris and Anne Elizabeth, of Whitby, which had gone out fishing in the morning of the 5th October, were reported at about 2 P.M. to be just outside the bar, their crews making signals by blowing their fog-horns and shouting. There was a dense fog at the time and a heavy sea. The Whitby No. 2 Life-boat, Harriott Forteath, put off to their assistance, supplied the seven men in the cobles with lifebelts, and assisted them to the beach, where they landed safely..
