NEWHAVEN.—At 2 P.M. on1 the 24th May, the Michael Henry Life-boat was launched to the aid of launched to the aid of the dandy Happy Return, of Newhaven. The vessel was loaded with chalk, which had been taken from the beach, when she was suddenly overtaken by a squall which threatened to engulf her. The Life-boat remained by her until she reached the harbour, her crew of three men being reassured by the presence of the boat., of Newhaven.
