SKEGNESS, LINCOLNSHIBE.—The Herbert Ingram Life-boat was launched at 11.40 P.M. on the 8th of January, and took the master and crew of the smack Pet, of Grimsby, oif to their vessel, which was at anchor about a mile from the Lifeboat Station, as the weather was becoming squally, and there was a very heavy sea.

The Life-boat remained by the smackuntil 9 o'clock on the following morning, when the vessel was towed to Grimsby..
