Triton

On the 19th of January, at 9 A.M., the No. 2 Life-boat, the Godsend, was launched to the assistance of the brig Triton, of Svelvig—bound from Memel to France with oak boards—which was in a dangerous position near the Scroby Sands, during a N.E. wind and a heavy sea.

With the help of the Life-boat and a steam-tug, the vessel, which carried a crew of six men, was taken safely to Yarmouth Roads..
