LOWEBTOEF,— The coxswain of the Samuel PlimwU Life-boat was called at 6 A.sr. on the llth October as a schooner was observed driving over Corton Sands, the sea breaking over her. The crew were at once summoned, and the Life-boat proceeded to the assistance of the vessel, which was found to be the ffannah, of Yarmouth, Her crew had left her; she had lost both her anchors, and was dragging her chain. The Life-boat crew slipped the chain, and with, the assistance of a steam-tug the vessel was taken into Lowestoft Harbour..
