YOUGHAL, Co. CORK.—The William Beckett of Leeds Life-boat was launched at noon on the 15th February to the aid of the barquentine Vidonia, of Bridport, bound from Pernambuco with a cargo of sugar, which had stranded on the bar during a fresh gale from the S.S.E. and a heavy sea.
