WORTHING.— On the 10th February, at about 5.50 P.M., the schooner Teresa,, of Weymoata, bound from Guernsey to London, with granite, was observed drivj ing on shore. A strong gale of wind from the S. was blowing and the sea was heavy.

The crew of the Life-boat Henry Harris were immediately summoned, and as it was evident that the vessel could not possibly keep off the lee shore, it was decided to use the Life-boat. Horses had been sent for,; but before they arrived the erew and assistants ran the boat and carriage 400 yards over the sands. The vessel was soon reached, aad the crew, numbering foar men, saved. The schooner drove ashore about half a mile East of Worthing pier and became a total wreck..
