Blue Bell
CLOVELLY, NORTH DEVON.—The ketch Blue Bell, of Padstow, lying at anchor off Clovelly'on the 26th March, at 11 A.
showed a signal of distress. A fresh gale from the N. was blowing at the time, and there was a heavy sea. The Clovelly Lifeboat was immediately launched, and on reaching the vessel found that she had lost some of her sails and was riding heavily at her anchors. The crew of three men were anxious to be rescued from their perilous situation, and they were therefore brought ashore in the Life-boat..
