The Time

WINTERTON, NORFOLK.—Signals of distress were seen flying from a ketch three miles N.E. of Winterton, during a severe storm and a very heavy sea, at about 2.30 P.M. on the 14th October. The Winterton No. 2 Life-boat, the Husband, proceeded to the vessel, and found her to be the Time, of Goole, bound fromLondon to Newcastle with wheat. The Life-boat took off the crew of four men, and brought them safely ashore. The vessel, which was leaking, and had lost her anchor, ultimately foundered..
