The S.S. Trafalgar

PALLING, NORFOLK. — On the 15th January, during a moderate gale from the W.N.W., accompanied by heavy snow showers, the British Workman Life-boat was launched in reply to signals of distress, and found the s.s. Trafalgar, of London, ashore on the Hasborough Sand.

The Life-boat remained by her for some lours, and finally rescued the crew, twenty-three in number, all of whom were safely landed at Falling, though in a very benumbed condition. The steamer was on a voyage from Shields to Bombay, with a cargo of coal..
