Queen of the Isles

At 11 P.M. on the 14th November signals of distress were shown by the schooner Queen of the Isles, of Carnarvon.

The wind was blowing a whole gale from the N.N.E., and a heavy sea was running.

The George Moore Life-boat proceeded to her, and brought ashore her crew of three men.At about 1 P.M. on the 16th November the gale again sprang up, accompanied by a very heavy sea, and the schooner's crew, who had meanwhile gone back to her, were afraid that she would part her chains. They therefore made signals of distress, in response to which the Lifeboat went out and again brought them ashore..
