Matchless
WHITBY.—On the 1st October, at 4 P.M., the Life-boat Harriott Forteath was launched and put four of the crew of a Cornish fishing-boat, the Matchless, on board their vessel, which was riding at anchor near Whitby Kock, and was in great danger in consequence of a very strong" wind and heavy sea having suddenly sprung up. The Life-boat also brought ashore a man from a coble which was unable to make the harbour or to land on the beach..
