City of Bangor

PORTHDINLLAEN.—The schooner City of Bangor, of Bangor, was seen riding heavily at her anchors in Porthdinllaen Bay during a heavy N.E. gale, at about 9 A.M.

on the 28th October. In reply to her signals of distress the George Moore Lifeboat put off to her, and found that she had just parted one of her chains, and as there was a likelihood of her parting the other, the crew, four in number, wished to be brought ashore. With considerable difficulty they were taken into the Lifeboat and landed at Porthdinllaen..
