WEXFORD.—Signals of distress were observed at midnight on the 8th May, from a vessel which had stranded on the Dogger Bank. The wind was blowing from the E.N.E. at the time, and the sea was rough. The Ethel JEveleen Life-boat promptly proceeded to render assistance, and on arriving alongside the vessel found she was the schooner Jonah, of Wexford, bound for that port from Dublin with a cargo of wheat. As she was full of water, her crew of four men, and two passengers, were taken into the Life-boat and brought safely to land..
