Two Fishing Smacks The James and The Atkins

PORTHDINLLAEN.—Signals of distress were shown from some vessels in Carnarvon Bay on the night of the 25th January. The crew of the Life-boat George Moore quickly assembled, launched their boat, and proceeded in the direction of the light, when they were enabled to render assistance to two fishing-smacks, the James and the Atkins, both belonging to Liverpool, which had been in collision about nine miles N.E. of Porthdinllaen..
