ANSTRUTHER.—On the 9th November, the Admiral Fitzroy Life-boat rescued the crew, consisting of 4 men, from the s.s.

Dryad, of Glasgow. The vessel was on a voyage from Montrose to Campbeltown, with barley, and when near the entranceof the Forth, during hazy weather, her machinery was disabled. She then made for the land under sail, but went ashore amongst the rocks, the water being low at the time. When left by her crew, she was fast filling with water, and was likely to become a total wreck..
