SELSEY.—On the 18th October, signals of distress having been observed, the Lifeboat Four Sisters was launched, and proceeded to the Royal Mail steamer Elbe, which had gone ashore on the Puller Bank during a strong E. wind and hazy weather. The Life-boat remained by her until the following morning, when she got off and proceeded on her voyage.
