Golden Plover

On the 5th June, at 4 A.M., during squally weather, a vessel was observed ashore on Horsey Beach. The No. 1 Life- boat, the Parses, proceeded to her through a heavy sea, and found she was the brig Golden Plover, of Sunderland, on a voyage from that port to Bari, Gulf of Venice, with a cargo of coal and bricks. She carried a crew of 10 men, who were taken into the Life-boat and brought safely to land..
